Effective date: 20 August 2026

This notice explains how Kredibility Finance (Private) Limited processes personal information. It applies to this website, initial loan applications, enquiries, marketing channels and related customer communications.

1. Controller and contact details

Kredibility Finance (Private) Limited is the controller of the information described here. Our office is at Club Chambers, 11th Floor, Corner Third and Nelson Mandela Avenue, Harare, Zimbabwe. Privacy and data-rights requests may be sent to admin@kredibilityfinance.co.zw or delivered to the office.

2. Information we process

The initial online application collects your name, telephone number, optional email address, employment category, requested loan type and amount, preferred term, optional purpose, age confirmation and recorded choices. It deliberately does not request national ID, EC number, bank details, income evidence or supporting documents. If an application proceeds, a credit officer may request additional identity, employment, financial, affordability and collateral information through an approved process.

Enquiries may contain contact details, product interest and the message you provide. Healthcare, ZiG, school fees and smartphone campaign enquiries also collect your employer or business and job title so the team can route and respond to the request. School fees enquiries record only the education level selected and do not request a child’s name. Smartphone catalogue enquiries also record the model or catalogue option you select and your confirmation that you are employed and paid through SSB. We do not request an SSB employee number at this stage. Website systems may process IP address, browser/device details, requested pages, timestamps, referral information and consent preferences. Analytics and advertising information is processed only after the corresponding website choice.

3. Purposes and grounds

We process information to respond to enquiries; take steps requested before entering a credit agreement; assess eligibility and affordability; verify identity and supporting information; administer facilities; meet financial-sector and legal obligations; secure and operate the website; handle rights and complaints; and, where separately chosen, send marketing or measure website and advertising performance.

Depending on the activity, processing is based on your specific request or consent, steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with law, protection of vital interests, or a legitimate interest that is not overridden by your rights. Optional marketing, analytics and advertising choices may be withdrawn at any time.

4. Forms, recipients and service providers

Initial applications and website enquiries are submitted through Web3Forms and delivered through email services to authorised Kredibility personnel. Healthcare, ZiG, school fees and smartphone campaign enquiries may also be copied to restricted Google Sheets used as lead follow-up registers before WhatsApp opens. Web3Forms, Google, email and WhatsApp process information to transmit, store or continue the requested enquiry. General online loan applications are not duplicated into these campaign Sheets.

Other recipients may include identity, credit, payroll, legal, audit, security, hosting and regulatory providers where necessary and appropriately authorised. We do not sell personal information. We do not send national ID, income documents or full application content to advertising platforms.

5. Analytics, advertising and cookies

Essential browser storage remembers your privacy choice, its date, the notice version and a random consent-receipt identifier. Google Analytics loads only if you select Analytics. Meta Pixel loads only if you select Advertising. Kredibility does not use session-recording technology on this website. Rejecting non-essential technologies does not prevent access to the site or application form.

If enabled, these services may receive device, network, referral and interaction information. Meta may associate activity with an account where its technology permits. The website sends lead-measurement events only when the relevant choice has been made; it does not deliberately include application-field values in those events. See our Cookie Policy and use the Cookie settings button to change your choice.

6. International processing

Web3Forms, email, website hosting, Google, Meta and other service providers may process information outside Zimbabwe. These transfers are subject to applicable Zimbabwean requirements concerning the destination, purpose, security, contractual protection, transfer ground, consent and notification to the Data Protection Authority.

7. Retention

Initial applications and unsuccessful or incomplete enquiries are retained only for the period needed to respond, assess the request, manage complaints and meet documented legal or regulatory obligations, after which they should be securely deleted or anonymised. Records for approved facilities are retained for the facility lifecycle and any verified statutory period. Marketing choices are retained until withdrawal or suppression; privacy-preference records remain in your browser until cleared or replaced. Exact periods must be approved and recorded in Kredibility’s internal retention schedule.

8. Security

The public website uses HTTPS for transmission. Organisational access controls, staff permissions and provider safeguards operate outside the website and must be maintained and reviewed by Kredibility. Please do not send identity documents, account numbers or passwords through the initial website forms or ordinary social-media messages. No internet transmission is completely risk-free.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to be informed about processing, access information held about you, correct inaccurate information, object to processing, request deletion where retention is not required, withdraw consent free of charge and object to direct marketing. Contact admin@kredibilityfinance.co.zw. We may verify your identity before acting and will record the request and outcome.

10. Children and automated decisions

Online loan applications are intended only for people aged 18 or older. The website does not make a solely automated approval or rejection decision. Applications that proceed are reviewed by authorised credit personnel under Kredibility’s assessment process.

11. Complaints and regulator

Please contact us first so we can investigate. You may also contact the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) in its capacity as the Data Protection Authority through potraz.gov.zw.

12. Changes

We will publish material changes here with a revised effective date. Where a change affects processing based on consent, we will request a new choice rather than treating continued browsing as consent.
